The renovations of the Village Hall are going well. The new roof for the hall is finished and looks very good. The next step was the work to the exterior, which was found to be in worse shape than expected and needed to be reclad on three sides, plus installation of new windows and doors. This has used up the remaining Sita grant monies as well as an additional sum from the Village Hall funds. We still hope to install a new heating system in the not too distance future.

The Village Hall is the venue for tea and cakes during the afternoon of Sunday 24th June for those people going to the Village lunch and fete on the playing field. Please book your tickets with Richard.

Thank you to the Moon and Sixpence for holding two events in April, the 70's evening and Casino Royale Night, from which they have kindly donated a percentage to the Village Hall funds.
